Team formation guidelines Senior League

1. Each team gets 5 protected players this season. At least 1 must be a 6th grader in order to get everyone to 4 next season
   • Protected player is a player not entered in the draft. If the player is protected as a 5^th grader and returns to the team, he is still protected as 6^th grader and will count towards the 4 protected players.
2. All 6^th graders that were drafted on a team as 5^th graders automatically return to the team unless they request to enter draft. These players are not considered protected players.
3. All players over 120 pounds will be distributed evenly.
4. Siblings of a returning player is moving up to Senior league joins his/her sibling
5. Returning Coach of a team has a child moving up from Junior league team joins team.
6. All teams will have an equal amount of kids before everyone drafts
   • Example: Team 1 has 7 players and Team 2 only has 4 players. Team 2 will draft 3 players prior to Team 1 getting a draft pick
7. Each team will have equal amounts of 5^th graders and equal amounts of 6^th graders
8. All coaches will be board approved, background checked and certified by USA Football
